The Mimics are powerful and have become less rare compared to their appearances in earlier MW3 Zombies. Now, with the Season 5 Reloaded update, they are more accessible. These terrorizing monsters sport tentacles and razor-sharp fangs, boasting great speed and agility. Acid balls and deadly grabs are some of the attacks these powerful fiends unleash.

A new Dark Aether Rift added in the final story mission gives an opportunity to explore and complete the contracts even beyond the end of a campaign. Unlocking of the Rift portal depends on fulfilling certain tasks by the player, including gathering four items. One of the items named Echo of Locked Diary is achievable only after killing five Mimics by using the Aether Blade.

How to spawn multiple Mimics in MW3 Zombies?


To spawn multiple Mimics in MW3 Zombies successfully, you are going to require a well-prepped character and some strategy. Well, here it is in detail:


Preparation:



  • Gear Upgrade: The character shouldn't proceed to spawn Mimics unless he or she has been equipped with good weapons and perks. One could Pack-a-Punch his primary weapon to increase damage output.
  • Perks: Take up Juggernog for health upgrade, Quick Revive for quicker revives, and Phasing for temporary invincibility.
  • Placement and Invocation:
  • Tier 2 Zone: The summoning ritual for Mimic can only be invoked in a Tier 2 Zone. Proceed to the zone named Souk Nuri, specifically traveling along its southeastern border.
  • Runestone Activation: Jump from the bridge into the waters below heading towards Low Town. Three purple runestones are submerged near the bridge. Activate each runestone with your melee weapon. The symbol on the runestone should fill from purple to yellow if you were successful.
  • Symbol Alignment: Turn all three runestones on and head to the nearby docks. Position yourself so that the symbols on the bridge pillars are in a perfect triangle. Hop into the water and move very carefully until the runic pattern goes from yellow to green.

Mimic Spawning:



  • Appearance: When the runic pattern goes green, Mimics will begin to spawn in the water. The special zombies are more resistant to being killed and can be challenging to take out.
  • Combat Strategy: You'll want to weaken the Mimics with your primary weapon before killing them with your Aether Blade. You may also have an advantage in some fights by staying in the water since it's possible that Mimics can't follow you.


Reward:



  • Echo of Locked Diary: You will be able to get the purple-ranked Echo of Locked Diary after defeating several of them. The item could be used to unlock further content in the game or to get more rewards.

  • Team Work: If you are playing the game with your friends, then team up and attack together on Mimics to take them down in seconds.
  • Practice: The spawning ritual for Mimics can be finicky, so don't get discouraged if it doesn't go right the first time. Eventually, you'll get the process down with enough practice.
