If you’re playing Minecraft, you may have noticed that a parrot has hopped onto your shoulder and is refusing to get off. You may have thought it was cute at first, but now you just want to get it off of you. Luckily, removing a parrot from your shoulder in Minecraft is easy to do.

How to remove a parrot from your shoulder in Minecraft?

First, you need to make sure the parrot is tamed. Wild parrots will not sit on your shoulder, so you need to feed the parrot a seed first to tame it. Each seed has a 33% chance of taming the parrot, so you may need to try a few different seeds before it works. Once the parrot is tamed, it will either sit on the ground or fly and try to land on your shoulder.

Next, you need to decrease elevation quickly to remove the parrot from your shoulder. Jumping off a mountain into the water, going underwater, or even flying downward with an Elytra will have the parrot get off of your shoulder. Once the parrot is off, you can tell it to sit so it won’t try to land on your shoulder again.

If you’re still having trouble removing the parrot from your shoulder, you can also try using magic damage to force it off. To do this, you will need to craft a Restoration Potion at an Alchemy Table, which will restore 100 mana. You can then use the Greater Mana Potion in Terraria to cast magic damage on the parrot and force it off your shoulder.

Finally, you can also try using a healing potion. Healing potions are consumable items in Minecraft that will restore health and remove any potion sickness that the parrot may have. Simply craft the mana, select the potion, and feed it to the parrot. This should remove the parrot from your shoulder and keep it from coming back.

Removing a parrot from your shoulder in Minecraft is a simple task that doesn’t require much effort. If you follow the steps above, you should be able to get your parrot off your shoulder in no time.
