Because of this, the third party member will, for all intents and purposes, not be able to move every round. Almost no one will ever use it as an accessory. Rarely will you be forced to fight alone as the protagonist, and that's where I can see this being useful. Though it may serve its usefulness for a small period in the middle of the game, it does nothing else.
