In other words, the premium currency of Limbus Company, Lunacy, can be spent to acquire new Identities and EGOs. It means that Lunacy is the main gacha currency in this game, so if you want all those new character types, you'd better gather as much as possible.

As with most gacha games, Limbus Company operates in a similar fashion for players to gain Lunacy. During the beginning phase, it will be very plentiful, but it will have a dramatic drop-off in the overall acquisition rate after the account reaches a certain maturity point.

How to Get Lunacy in Limbus Company?

New players have it easiest to gain Lunacy when they go through the main tale. You will be able to receive an additional 260 Lunacy by EX clearing enough tasks added to the 390 Lunacy you receive per chapter. To EX clear a task, you need to complete all of the EX objectives associated with that task. Do your best to complete those goals since you will have an extra 40 Lunacy for getting an EX clear on a task for the first time.

You will also be rewarded with Lunacy for the first-time completion of Luxcavation levels.
When all the story quests are completed, your Lunacy gains start to fall. From now on, these are the best ways to get Lunacy:

  • Complete all event levels.
  • Battle pass rewards, improved mirror dungeons, and player identity enhancement
  • Direct purchases

Your best bet for reliably acquiring Lunacy is to complete the Boosted Mirror Dungeons. Doing up to three of these will net 750 Lunacy per week. Resets are weekly at Wednesday. Bring your best identifiers because these can get tough.

After events, Lunacy is your best hope for acquiring it. The best way to acquire Lunacy is by doing events whenever you have the opportunity since they only last for a limited period of time. If you don't want to miss any of the awards given by the event, check them all again.

Uptying refers to upgrading the egos and identities of your Sinners. You get 40 Lunacy at Uptie Tier 3, and they gain more strength each time they progress in the tier. This may not be infinitely like Mirror Dungeons, but this might be considered more of a long-term goal on how to achieve Lunacy, since getting non-default Sinner Identities to Uptie 3 will be quite a task. Eventually, you'll be able to Uptier each and every character in your roster if you keep leveling them up and gather the Threads.

Finally, you'll be able to upgrade your Sinners by resources you get through the battle passes of the game, among which you'll also find Lunacy rewards. The battle passes have free tracks but all perks require real money.

Now that you know How to Get Lunacy in Limbus Company, follow this guide step by step to achieve it without complexity.
