Finding materials can sometimes be tricky in Kingdom Hearts games, and Kingdom Hearts 3 is no exception to this rule. Lucid Crystals are a very important item as they will allow you to craft the Ultimate Weapon for Sora and Save the Queen + Staff for Donald Duck. Lucid Crystals are also a key material needed to craft the Defense Booster item, which will be crucial when facing Data boss battles.

A quick tip: Before grinding any items in Kingdom Hearts 3, make sure to equip the Favorite Attachment Keyblade and Lucky Rings on Sora. In addition to this, make sure to equip the Lucky Strike skill on Goofy. This will increase the drop rate of items from enemies.

How to Get Kingdom Hearts 3 Lucid Crystals and Gems?

Getting Lucid Crystals

The best way to get Lucid Crystals is by defeating the Anchor Raider, who only resides in the Caribbean. Head to Lucky Island, which is on the west side of the map, and there should be three Anchor Raiders. I recommend sticking with magic attacks, especially if you're at a lower level, as these enemies can sometimes become problematic in melee scenarios.

After defeating all three Anchor Raiders, fast travel to another location on the Caribbean map using the pirate ship, and then head back to Lucky Island, where they should respawn. You may have to defeat a few Anchor Raiders in succession before any Lucid Crystals drop, but rest assured, this is definitely the best place to farm this material.

The Anchor Raider will also drop Wellspring Crystals. This is helpful because Wellspring Crystals are one of the components used when crafting Lucid Crystals at the Moogle Workshop. You'll need:

1 Source Crystal
2 Lucid Gems
3 Lucid Stones
5 Lucid Shards to craft Lucid Crystals.

How to get Lucid Gems in Kingdom Hearts 3?

To find Lucid Gems, you'll need to beat the Chief Puff, which can only be found in the Kingdom of Corona. You can find these soulless guys in various locations scattered around The Hills. However, the quickest way to find them is by facing Battle Gate 7.

Fast travel to Forest Tower and then backtrack from the save point through the cave until you reach the meadow; then turn right and follow the path, and you should find Battle Gate 7. When you're fighting a Chief Puff, use the Aeroga attack, as this will knock down the Chief Puff's tower immediately and make him vulnerable to attacks without slowly chipping away at his armor. If you're strong enough, it can even kill them instantly.

If you're not strong enough to take on Battle Gate 7 yet, defeating the Malachite Bolero is a great alternative to obtaining Lucid Gems, which can be found in the Kingdom of Corona or the Caribbean. The easiest way to find these fiends is by going to Forest Tower in the Kingdom of Corona and heading north until you reach the bottom of the waterfall.
