Admittedly, the world of Infinity Nikki is filled with the cutest and fluffiest crafting materials you can imagine. These items become ever so alluring to the dedicated player community that has been relishing the game's continuous updates since its remarkable debut at the end of 2024. However, some items are more elusive than others and will require you to make a round or two in Wishfield to find them.

Among the items in Infinity Nikki, Hooded Feathers stand out, sourced exclusively from a unique bird that resides deep within the woods. To gather the feathers essential for your Wardrobe's newest outfits, it's crucial to pinpoint their exact locations.

How to Get Hooded Feather in Infinity Nikki?

Hooded Feathers are one of the rarest items in Infinity Nikki, considering that it can only be found in a single unique location called the Wishing Woods. All regions in Wishfield can be accessed by exploring or completing the main story quests that will unlock each one. To enter this enchanted place called Wishing Woods, you must complete the story quests up to Chapter 6.

Having finally been granted full access to the magical Wishing Woods, your next task is to find the mythical Hooded Owls, the ones that give out the Hooded Feathers. Thankfully, these creatures are quite easy to identify, being large, tan-colored owls that are almost half the size of Nikki. You'll find them in many areas of the Wishing Woods, and from the moment you first enter the Wish Inspection Center, you can be assured of plenty of choice.

Hooded Owls can often be found nesting on the ground or in a favored nook on one of the raised platforms the Faewish Sprites occupy. Better still, and unlike some of their more timid cousins, like Longstockings, these birds won't be scared away by your presence even if you walk up right next to them in casual duds. Once you locate one, have the Bye-Bye Dust ability outfit, or at least one of its fashionably rumpled variants ready to go. When the blue brush icon appears above the Hooded Owl, it's time for a grooming session, as a reward for which you will receive 1 Hooded Feather and some worthy Grooming Insight.

Unlock the correct nodes of your Heart of Infinity Grid, and you can start getting Hooded Feather Essence plus a bonus of Hooded Feathers and/or Grooming Insight. As you can see above, the nodes are on the north part of the Heart of Infinity Grid and are sure enough quite pricey. You will have to spend at least 18,000 Grooming Insight to unlock the node for Hooded Feather Essence, while the one giving you a chance to get item and stat point bonuses costs 25,000 Insight.

Those nodes are going to take a lot of time to unlock. Instead of grooming every animal that crosses your path, you may want to head over to the Realm of Nourishment. You can spend some of your daily Vital Energy and gathered grooming items to increase your Grooming Insight. It will save you a lot of time and make sure you don't miss out on any opportunity when it comes to your hard work.

Keep in mind that a tracker for the location of all Hooded Owls across this charismatic Wishing Woods awaits inside the details of your Map, simply click open it and look into the bottom-left corner where your book icon stands; click that icon to unfold the Collections menu.

Continue scrolling down until you find the Hooded Feather option-it will be there if you have at least one-and select it. Click 'Track' and the map will show the nearest Hooded Owl in the area, highlighted by an orange circle, as shown above. If you have 'Precise Tracking,' you can show the exact positions of all these owls at once. You will need to gather enough Hooded Feathers for this to be unlocked.

Remember, all groom nodes reset-that is, the creatures-after approximately 24 hours from the time they are groomed. It used to be this way but was changed to once a day per server time in the V.1.2 update. You'll have to wait that amount of time until you can gather more feathers or whatever groomed items you may need in Infinity Nikki.

While doing so, don't forget to drop by the Sovereign of Fresh in Wishing Woods, east of the Grand Tree, and get your Fresh Medal to increase your status as a top stylist in Miraland.
