How to obtain Fluxweed seeds

To acquire Fluxweed seeds, start your journey in Hogsmeade and head towards the northwest part of the village, where you'll find the Magic Neep vendor. This is one of the first shops you can come across and you can buy the Fluxweed seed here.

Preparing the Pots

Where to find Spellcraft for Large Pots

To get the Large Pots for planting, you can purchase Spellcraft at the Tome and Scrolls store located in the south part of Hogsmeade. Talk to the vendor there who will have multiple options of the Large Pot Spellcraft. Buy one, or multiple if you wish, and head back to the Room of Requirement to start planting.

Purchasing and setting up the Large Pots

Once you have the Spellcraft for Large Pots, you’ll need to bring it back to the Room of Requirement. There, you’ll need to find the Cauldron of Preparation. Place the Spellcraft in the Cauldron and it will transform into the Large Pot you chose. Take the newly created Large Pot and place it on the ground, near the edge of the Room of Requirement.

Planting the Fluxweed

Before planting the Fluxweed, you’ll need to prepare the soil. To do this, take some soil and mix it with equal parts of water, fertilizer and compost. Mix these ingredients together until it forms a paste, then spread the paste over the bottom of the Large Pot.

Planting the Fluxweed seeds

Now that the soil is ready, it’s time to plant the Fluxweed seeds. Take the Fluxweed seeds you bought from the Magic Neep vendor and spread them evenly on the soil. Make sure to keep the seeds at least one inch apart from each other to give them enough space to grow.

Waiting for the Fluxweed to grow

Once the seeds are planted, you’ll need to wait for the Fluxweed to grow. Fluxweed takes 15 minutes to grow, so make sure to keep an eye on it.

Fertilizing the Fluxweed to get more stems

If you wish to increase the number of Fluxweed stems, you can give it fertilizer. To do this, take some fertilizer and spread it over the top of the soil. This will help the Fluxweed to grow more stems each time it’s fertilized.
