The first thing you need to know about how to get the remote emetic gas device, is that this device is locked behind the level 5 mastery of the Complex location on Haven Island in Hitman 32. You will be able to access this location if you have the Hitman 32 pass. But it is the last mission of Hitman 32, so you may want to play through the rest of the game before trying to get it.
When you can take on Haven Island Resort, you'll have a chance to unlock the Remote Ethyl Gas Device in a single game. This means having to complete the story missions, challenges and whatever else it takes until you can kill each of the three targets without drawing attention to yourself. Considering that there are 3 targets, you will need to complete at least three story missions.
You should also keep in mind that there are a lot of locations and disguises to discover. Finding new locations will allow you to get XP as a reward, so we recommend you to venture around the island whenever you can, also looking for disguises that can complete the location challenges and allow you to get more XP.
Another way to get XP is by completing quests with a Silent Assassin rank. You may have to resort to the last backup to retry a situation just to keep the Silent Assassin rank, but this is the least of it, as it will allow you to get to level 5 mastery much faster.
The key is to get as much XP as possible until you unlock the Remote Ethyl Gas Device with 23,000 XP points.
