In Grounded 2, the highly anticipated sequel to Obsidian Entertainment's survival adventure, players once again find themselves shrunken down and forced to survive in a colossal suburban backyard. To progress, you'll need to master the art of scavenging, crafting, and exploration. One of the many essential resources you'll need to find is Lingonberries, a vital material for upgrading your tools.This guide will tell you exactly where to find Lingonberries and what you'll need to gather them.

Grounded 2: Where to Find Lingonberries

Lingonberries are a mid-to-late game resource, and as such, they are found in one of the more challenging areas of the map: the Pine Hill region. This area is located on the northwestern corner of the park, along the map's border.

• Main Location: You'll find the most concentrated number of Lingonberries in the Hedge that runs along the far western edge of the Pine Hill area. This hedge is a dense, elevated strip of land.
• Accessing the Area: To reach this location, you'll need to navigate a steep climb. One of the most accessible entry points is west of the Picnic Table. Look for a large leaf that you can use to climb up onto the ledge, then jump across a series of rocks until you reach the top of the cliff.
• Visual Landmarks: As you travel, you may pass landmarks like the Autographed Baseball or the Pine Hill Ranger Outpost. These can help orient you as you approach the elevated hedge where the berries are found.
• Warning: This area is not without its dangers. Be on the lookout for hostile bugs, including Wolf Spiders, which are known to roam through the dense underbrush of the Pine Hill region.

How to Harvest Lingonberries

Once you've located the Lingonberry bushes, you'll notice the berries hanging from branches. Unlike other resources, there are a couple ofsteps to harvesting them.

Knock Them Down: The berries are often too high to reach directly. You'll need to hitthem with a melee weapon or shoot them down with arrows to get them tofall to the ground.

Gather with the Right Tool:The most crucial step is having the correct tool. Unlike the commonBlueberry, which can be harvested with a basic tool, Lingonberriesrequire an upgraded Omni-Tool. You must have a Tier II Axe to chop the fallen berries into harvestable chunks.

Upgrading to the Tier II Axe

The Tier II Axe is a vital tool for mid-game progression. To craft it, youwill need to gather the following resources and then use a Workbench toperform the upgrade:

• Roach Chunk: 2x
• Blueberry Leather: 2x
• Science: 2000x

After upgrading your Omni-Tool with the Tier II Axe, you can return to theLingonberry location and gather the chunks, which can then be analyzedat a field station to unlock new crafting recipes, including Lingonberry Leather.
