How to Get Omni-Axe Level 2 in Grounded 2

In Grounded 2, the Omni-Tool is an essential piece of equipment that combines the functionality of an axe, shovel, hammer, and wrench. While the Tier 1 Omni-Axe is given to you early on, progressing to the mid-game requires you to unlock the Tier 2 upgrade. This upgrade allows you to chop up more complex plant life and harvest higher-tier resources.Here is a comprehensive guide on how to get the Omni-Axe Tier 2 upgrade, including all the required materials and how to find them.

Omni-Axe Tier 2 Upgrade Requirements

The Omni-Axe Tier 2 is currently the maximum upgrade available in the Early Access version of Grounded 2. To unlock it, you will need to gather the following resources:

• 2x Roach Chunks
• 2x Blueberry Leather
• 2,000 Raw Science

Once you have these items, you can perform the upgrade at any Ranger Station.

How to Get the Required Materials

1. How to Make Blueberry Leather

Blueberry Leather is a mid-tier resource required for many early-to-mid-game recipes.

• Blueberry Location: The best location to find Blueberries is at the Ice Cream Cart in the southeastern part of the map. You will find large blueberry bushes, and the berries are typically on high branches.
• Harvesting Blueberries: To get the berries down, you must use a ranged weapon, such as a bow and arrow, to shoot them off the branches.
• Crafting Leather: Once the berries are on the ground, you can use your Omni-Axe to chop them into Blueberry Chunks. You can then take these chunks to a Workbench to craft Blueberry Leather.

2. How to Get Roach Chunks

Roach Chunks are harvested from cockroaches, a large and aggressive type of insect.

• Roach Location: Cockroaches are often found in dark and damp areas. A reliable place to find them is in the trash area southeast of the Ranger Outpost. They typically roam around the large plate in this location.
• The Fight: A battle with a cockroach can be tough. It is highly recommended towear your best armor for physical defense and have both a bow and meleeweapons on hand for versatility. Be aware that the fight may have asecond phase where the cockroach's head detaches and continues toattack, making it more dangerous.
• Acquiring Chunks: After defeating the cockroach, you can harvest its body for Roach Chunks.

Once you have collected all the necessary materials and 2,000 Raw Science,head to the nearest Ranger Station to complete the Omni-Axe Tier 2upgrade. This will unlock a new level of resource gathering and open upmore crafting possibilities.
