How to Get Omni-Hammer Level 2 in Grounded 2

The Omni-Tool is one of the most significant quality-of-life additions in Grounded 2, combining a hammer, axe, shovel, and wrench into a single, versatile tool. To progress into the mid and late game, you'll need to upgrade it to Tier 2, which allows you to harvest tougher resources like Lingonberries and candy.Here is a comprehensive guide on how to get the Omni-Hammer Tier 2 upgrade in the Early Access version of Grounded 2.

Omni-Hammer Tier 2 Upgrade Requirements

The Omni-Hammer is a crucial tool for breaking rocks and other hard objects. To upgrade it to Tier 2, you will need to gather a specific set of resources. This upgrade allows you to smash more complex materials and is a key step in your progression.The required resources are:

• 1x Ladybug Head
• 3x Lingonberry Leather
• 2,000 Raw Science

Once you have these items, you can perform the upgrade at a Ranger Station.

1. How to Make Lingonberry Leather

Lingonberry Leather is a mid-game crafting material that is essential for this upgrade.

• Lingonberry Location: You can find Lingonberries in the northwest corner of the park, specifically along the elevated strip on the western edge of the mapand within the bushes on the west side of the Picnic Table. They grow on high-up plants, making them difficult to reach.
• Harvesting Lingonberries: You will need a ranged weapon, like a bow, to shoot the Lingonberriesdown to the ground. Once they have fallen, you must use a Tier 2 Omni-Axe to chop them up into Lingonberry Chunks.
• Crafting the Leather: Once you have Lingonberry Chunks, you can process them into Lingonberry Leather.
  • At a Workbench, you can craft one piece of Lingonberry Leather from three Lingonberry Chunks.
  • Alternatively, you can use a Drying Rack to convert chunks into leather at a much more efficient 1:1 ratio, though it takes more time.

2. How to Get a Ladybug Head

Ladybugs are large, docile insects that are commonly found roaming the starting area.

• Acquiring the Head: Ladybugs are not hostile unless provoked, but you will need to defeatone to get its head. Be prepared for a tough fight. Using a combinationof melee weapons and a shield is an effective strategy, as they do nothave any area-of-effect attacks.
• Harvesting: After you defeat a ladybug, you will have a chance to harvest a Ladybug Head from its body. This is not a guaranteed drop, so you may need to fight a few ladybugs before you get one.

3. How to Get Raw Science

Raw Science is the game's universal currency for upgrades and recipes. You will need 2,000 Raw Science for the Omni-Hammer upgrade. You can acquire Raw Science by:

• Collecting the glowing purple orbs found scattered throughout the park.
• Analyzing new materials at a Resource Analyzer.
• Completing Ranger Quests.
• Progressing through the main story missions.

Once you have all the required materials and enough Raw Science, you can goto a Ranger Station and use the terminal to perform the Omni-Hammer Tier 2 upgrade.
