They are special objects found on the beaches of Kannazuka and function as barter material for the chests of a certain man, which will allow you to open chests to get various special rewards.

How to find mysterious Conches in Genshin Impact?

The first thing you need to do is head to the statue of seven in Kannazuka > then move northwest, where you will find a large building with NPC Takashi inside, in front of three common chests. The NPC will tell you that you must find three mysterious shells per day in order to open a chest. Head to the beach in front of Takashi and look for shiny objects on the ground for mystery shells, which will be randomly distributed in the area above, so you'll have to search around to find enough of them.

Note that you will only be able to exchange three shells with Takashi per day, so you will only be able to open a chest once a day.

But when you open enough chests, you can get Hamayumi's blueprint, which is a free weapon you can craft.
