The first thing you have to do is find the puzzle, and for this you will have to head west from Thunderbird Perch. But to be able to access this puzzle, you will have to have obtained Ruu's Peculiar Pinion gadget on the second day of the Through the Mists quest line.
Near the previous Thunderbird, you will find an old carving that you can read and corresponds to the clue with which you can solve the Stone Slate puzzle> With this clue you will know that you will have to follow the gaze of the statue and next to the carving you will find another Thunderbird statue, in which you will have to use the Peculiar Pinion to make an Ishine Script appear on the wall.
After this you will have to follow the Thunderbird's gaze, since each one will lead you to another Thunderbird statue, in which you can use the Peculiar Pinion.
When you go through the fifth Thunderbird, you will be returned to the first place, and you can solve the puzzle.
To achieve this you must pay attention to the Ishine script that appears in each Thunderbird statue, so you will have to hit the five stones in the order that the script that appears in each statue> this will allow you to access an exquisite chest that you will find in the ancient carvings, in which you can find the seven stone slates.
