Detailed Walkthrough: Key Early Tags
COG Tag #1 (14 Years After E-Day): Immediately after the initial path choice, you'll enter an area with awooden table marked with a Crimson Omen. The tags are on the grounddirectly to the right of this table.
COG Tag #4 (Trial By Fire): In a courtyard firefight, clear all enemies and then check the backleft corner for a Crimson Omen. Dom will actually call out the tags,which are behind a low wall directly in front of the symbol.
COG Tag #6 (Fish in a Barrel): This tag is found in the large courtyard with a central fountain. After you've successfully sealed all the Emergence Holes in the area, searchnear a pile of rubble and sandbags in one of the courtyard's corners.
COG Tag #9 (Hammer): Upon finding the body of Private Rojas inside the ruined church, hisCOG Tags can be collected from a corner nearby, serving as a solemnstory moment.
COG Tag #12 (China Shop - FINAL TAG OF ACT I): This is a missable tag! After luring the Berserker outside, do not fire the final Hammer of Dawn shot. Instead, immediately follow the left wall to find a Crimson Omen; thetags are nearby. Collect them before defeating the boss, as the chapterends instantly upon its death.
