In the special transmission of Nintendo Direct for Pokemon Day, Nintendo released the new Pokemon titles for the Nintendo Switch, which could be part of the generation 8. Pokémon Sword and Pokemon Shield are expected to reach us by the end of the year .

Both games will be developed in a new region called "Galar" which, as far as we can see, reminds us a bit of Great Britain, perhaps it alludes to it. We were able to see 4 characters which were shown in the special Nintendo broadcast: a grass monkey named Grookey, a fire bunny called Scorbunny and a sad water lizard, Sobble.

The gameplay we saw on the Nintendo Direct was not widely detailed, but we believe that this could be several new things. Shigeru Ohmori has been working on the series since 2002: Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, and is the architect behind Pokémon Sword and Pokemon Shield, who at the time was also in charge of Sun and Moon.

The company Pokemon mocked in the trailer of Sword and Shield, that they were working much more in Pokemon in addition to future titles. Recall that the company announced for the first time that they were working on new games of Pokemon in E3 of the year 2017. But from there nothing new was revealed except that they would be launched in mid-2019.

In the description of "core RPG", we can see the difference with the most recent games Pokémon, Let's Go, Pikachu and Let's Go, Eevee, which initially were released as remakes for the yellow Pokemon in November of last year. On February 27, Pokemon Day was celebrated and the company honored its version for all sides, Pokemon Go, organizing a special event with creatures of the generation as well as brilliant versions of Pidgey and Rattata.
