Dota Underlords, the new AutoChess style game developed by Valve gives you the opportunity to communicate with other players through chat. However, being in an open beta version, players can only chat in two ways. So if you want to know what are the ways to chat in Dota Underlords, continue with us.

How to chat in Dota Underlords?

The first way to chat in Dota Underlords is through the use of pre-established phrases, where you can use phrases like "Today is my lucky day". You can open the dialog window by clicking on your avatar in the upper left corner of the screen, by doing so you will notice a list of chat phrases. As shown below:

  • Good game!
  • It is not over yet!
  • RNG hates me!
  • Today is my lucky day!
  • I destroyed that round!
  • Ouch, that hurts!
  • My power grows!
  • Have compassion!

If you want to use any of these pre-established phrases, you just have to click on the avatar, then click on the message you want to send and that's it, it will be displayed at the top of the screen.

On the other hand, you have the option of communicating with other players with the game repeatedly saying "Yo!" Between rounds. You should know that anyone in the game can use this option between matches if you know where to look.

Where to find the icon that says "Yo!" in Dota Underlords?

You can find it in the activity source at the top of the page between rounds, where the results of the battles are shown. These will scroll and, to the right of the banner, an icon will appear that says "Yo!" In a comment bubble. You just have to click on the icon.

Note that you can only click on each event once, however, you have the option to click on multiple event notifications.
