DiRT Rally proves to be one of the best racing simulators with the ability to use VR hearing aids on the market and when Codemasters the developers of the game learned of the launch of DiRT Rally 2.0, which meant a racing adventure of another level, to which the video game fans were hoping that VR technology would take the next step in the game, to which developers said virtual reality would not be part of the virtues of this release.
In September 2018 McGrath told USGamer: "We are focusing on making the main game experience before the launch, and after that, if there is demand from our community, then we will explore the possibility."
