After what seemed like many decades of development, Crackdown 3 is now here, an action-adventure and open world game exclusively for Xbox One and PC. This new release can finally be enjoyed by fans of Crackdown, who certainly were waiting for something innovative but that retained the essence of the first titles.Crackdown 3 has been surrounded by many delays, as it was announced a few years ago, at E3 of 2014, and just such constant delays in its development is what makes the criticisms are not so favorable.

This new installment begins with a terrorist attack that takes us to action in the city of New Providence, where a corporation called Terra Nova subjects people with their sinister government. So that control should be interrupted by the rude types of the Agency and restore order in the city. It will have to destroy the infrastructure of this corporation, started by murdering 8 lieutenants and finally the head of that government. In itself, a lot of chaos must be generated in the city with shots, explosions and demolitions.
The humor samples in the game are worthy of the actor Terry Crews, who puts face and voice to the main character of the story, leader of the squad named Jaxon, is a member of the Agency endowed with weapons of science fiction, strength and superhuman abilities , which undoubtedly has a pleasant personality thanks to the dialogues and presence of Crews. It should be noted that you can play with other characters that have their own attributes and statistical specialties.
Although the game is fun and entertaining because of the destruction and dirty mouth that some characters have, in the end it ends up being a somewhat outdated and superficial delivery. In addition, the amount of things that usually happen on the screen at the same time do not meet the expected graphic expectations, because the level of detail, the effects of lights and leftovers are quite limited.
Perhaps the key point of Crackdown 3 is that from the beginning you are an unstoppable god that deals bullets, because since you start it seems to be easy to attack and the levels of difficulty only make the enemies receive more bullets to be defeated and already, adding the fact that the grenades give the impression of being really powerful from the beginning. All this makes the game feel quite simple and easy.
Something very controversial is the progression of Crackdown 3, since, it is oriented to the old model of Assassin's Creed, where you had to unlock sections of a map and complete several scattered challenges, adding a particular touch, but at the same time excessive, where not only example you must close a chemical plant, but they are half a dozen. This is old because even Assassin's Creed abandoned this model.
The developers delayed this game because of the ambitious plan to use the improved computing capabilities offered by the Xbox One cloud, so the mega destruction of the entire city could be done with better quality, even knocking down complete skyscrapers. Although this ends up being somewhat restricted, focused for the Wrecking Zone, an online multiplayer zone that contains several game modes, which in the end do not end up adding many mechanical improvements to the game.
