Learn the essentials of sheep farming with our guide on raising sheep.
In Foundation, wool is a valuable resource essential for economic growth and citizen satisfaction. It's used to create common clothes, which generate gold and fulfill a basic need for your villagers. This guide details how to obtain wool and turn it into common clothes.
Foundation: How To Raise Sheep
Obtaining Wool:
Unlock Sheep Farm: To start producing wool, you first need to unlock the Sheep Farm. This becomes available after reaching Level 10 Progression. Purchase the "Clothing" option from the Progression Menu for 50 gold. This unlocks the Sheep Farm, along with the Weaver Hut and Tailor's Workshop, which are necessary for processing the wool. Build a Sheep Farm: Construct a Sheep Farm building in your village. Choose a suitable location with enough space for a pasture. Designate a Pasture: Use the "Paint Pasture" tool to create a designated grazing area for your sheep. The game provides feedback on the appropriate pasture size based on the number of farmers you assign to the Sheep Farm. Make sure the pasture is large enough to support your sheep population. Wool Production: Once the pasture is defined, wool production will begin automatically. Sheep will graze and produce wool over time. Wool Storage: Wool can be stored in a Warehouse to keep it organized and readily available for processing. Creating Common Clothes:

This is where the cloth is transformedinto common clothes. Villagerswill visit the stall to purchase common clothes, fulfilling theirclothing needs and generating income for your village. This is essential for keeping your citizens happy and attracting more residents.
- Myddle Kingdom Trade Route: You can also trade common clothes via the Myddle Kingdom trade route, which can bring in additional revenue.
Meeting Citizen Needs:
To ensure your commoners are properly clothed, maintain a consistentsupply of common clothes at your Goods Stall. Villagers will prioritize fulfilling their basic needs, including clothing, so having commonclothes available is crucial for a thriving and happy population.
