Save the World Starter Pack

Originally, Save the World was supposed to go free-to-play once Fortnite left early access, but this never happened. Even though the game officially launched in June 2020, it is still only available for purchase.Players can acquire Save the World by purchasing the Cuddle Buns Pack, which is available in the Special Items & Bundles section of the Fortnite Item Shop for $18.49. Alternatively, the Cuddle Buns Pack can also be purchased on the Epic Games Store.For fans who already own Save the World, purchasing the Cuddle Buns Pack won't offer any additional discounts or rewards outside of the V-Bucks included in the pack.Here’s what players will receive with the Cuddle Buns Pack in Fortnite:

• Access to Save the World PvE Campaign
• Pawline Skin
• Pawline LEGO Skin
• Bun Warmer Back Bling
• Bunniful Basher Pickaxe
• Pawline Challenges - Grants up to 1,500 V-Bucks by completing Save the World daily quests.

To access the Pawline Challenges, players must first complete the Homebase Stormshield Defense 3 mission in the Save the World Campaign.Note: Save the World is not available on the same platforms as Fortnite Battle Royale; it can only be played on PC, Xbox, or PlayStation – not on Switch or mobile.

Is Fortnite's Save the World Worth It?

While Save the World shares some artistic similarities with the Battle Royale mode, it is quite different. It's a strategic basedefense zombie game where players team up in PvE matches to completemissions and unlock more worlds and gear. Each player has their own home base to defend against the horde and the storm. To defend the base,players build structures, place traps, gather the best weapons, andrecruit survivors.

Can You Unlock V-Bucks in Fortnite by Playing Save the World?

Before Save the World left early access, many players purchased the Founder'sPack to get V-Bucks for Battle Royale through daily login rewards, daily missions, and the collection book.

Returning players with a Founder's Pack will find that they can no longer unlock V-Buckssimply by logging in or using the collection book, as these featureshave been removed. Now, Founders can only unlock V-Bucks by completingdaily missions or missions with timed rewards. Players who bought thegame after it left early access won’t have access to any V-Bucks exceptthose included in the StW Starter Pack.
