The thrill of piloting an X-Wing isn't the only exciting Star Wars addition this season in Fortnite. For those dedicated to the competitive aspect of the game, there are also free Star Wars rewards to be earned through Fortnite Ranked, including the coveted Death Star Smasher pickaxe.

How to Obtain the Death Star Smasher Pickaxe in Fortnite:

The Death Star Smasher pickaxe is the ultimate reward for dedicated players engaging in Fortnite Ranked during the Galactic Battle season. It's obtained by completing Ranked Quests Bonus Goals. Here's how it works:
  • Engage in Fortnite Ranked: To progress in these quests, you'll need to play either Battle Royale or Zero Build with the Ranked option enabled.
  • Complete Ranked Quests: Fortnite Ranked features a set of repeatable quests. Each time you finish one of these quests, it contributes to your Bonus Goal progress. The specific Ranked Quests available are:
    • Survive Storm Circles in Ranked Matches (5)
    • Eliminate players in Ranked Matches (3)
    • Place top 10 in Ranked Matches (2)
    • Earn Victory Royales in Ranked Matches (1)
  • Achieve Bonus Goals: As you complete more Ranked Quests, you'll reach Bonus Goal milestones, unlocking cosmetic rewards along the way.
  • Unlock the Death Star Smasher: The Death Star Smasher pickaxe is the final reward, unlocked after you have completed a total of 25 Ranked Quests throughout the Galactic Battle season.

    • Fortnite Galactic Battle Ranked Quests Rewards:

    As you work towards the Death Star Smasher, you'll also unlock other StarWars-themed and general cosmetic rewards. Here's a list of the rewardstied to the Ranked Quest Bonus Goals:
