In the current Fortnite season, aptly named Galactic Battle, players have the opportunity to pilot two legendary Star Wars vehicles: the TIE Fighter and the X-Wing. For those aligned with the Resistance, the X-Wing offers a powerful aerial presence.

Where to Find X-Wings in Fortnite:

X-Wings are primarily located in areas controlled by the Resistance across the Fortnite map. Keep an eye out for these key locations:

• Resistance Base: This is a prime location to find X-Wings.
• Outpost Enclave: Another significant area where X-Wings are commonly found.
• Various Resistance Outposts: Be sure to check these specific outposts:
  • South of Flooded Frogs.
  • Northwest of Brutal Boxcars.
  • Near The Bird restaurant, which is situated just south of the Resistance Base.

By heading to these Resistance-controlled areas, you'll significantly increase your chances of finding an X-Wing ready for takeoff.

How to Pilot X-Wings in Fortnite:

Once you've located an X-Wing, hoppinginto the cockpit and taking to the skies is relatively intuitive. Hereare the control mappings for piloting the X-Wing on various platforms:

However, the X-Wing has a uniquecharacteristic: when its health reaches zero, it becomes inactive for ashort period, during which its health will automatically recharge,allowing it to be used again. Be cautious during this inactive state, as the X-Wing can still be destroyed if it takes further damage.

The X-Wing's onboard weapons are quite potent, dealing 60 damage per hitand inflicting splash damage, making them effective against both aerialand ground-based opponents.

• Destroy Structures With X-Wing's Weapons Found Quest: To complete this quest, simply find an X-Wing and use its weapons todestroy a total of 25 structures. Upon completion and speaking to PoeDameron a second time, you'll earn a significant reward of 30,000 XP and a free Legendary A280-CFE Blaster.
• Embrace The Light Alignment Quest: Right from the start of the season, you can undertake this quest whichtasks you with traveling a distance of 5,000 meters while piloting anX-Wing. Completing this will grant you an additional 3,000 XP.
