How to get Cerebus’ Gatekeeper in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3?

You can get the Cerebus Guardian Mythic Pistol by fighting Cerebus at POI Grimgate. Last season you were also able to get the Cerebus Medal. However, it was removed from the game in Chapter 5 Season 3. It's worth noting that Cerebus is located southwest of the boss altar in Grim's Gate.

Previously, players had to interact with the boss to initiate combat, but this mechanic was removed this season; and the boss was moved elsewhere. However, this boss's fighting style remains the same as last season, when he used a shotgun to deal damage.

Additionally, Cerebus teleports around the arena to perform a close-range melee attack. During this attack, try to dodge or avoid the boss as it can quickly reduce its HP.

The best way to fight Cerebus is to snipe from a distance with an assault rifle or submachine gun. Enter the blue waters surrounding the boss arena so you can sprint through the underground world. This sprint ability allows you to move quickly over a short distance, but it only has three charges. Once you have this ability, move around the arena, surrounding the boss, and snipe from a distance to deal damage.

Be careful as there are usually multiple players landing at this location to get this mythic weapon. I recommend stocking up on weapons and shields before you start fighting the boss. Before you start the boss battle, interact with the NPC to receive free consumables and select the "Duel" option to face the character.

In Chapter 5 Season 3, you'll meet new bosses like Ringmaster Skarr, Machinist, and Megalo Don, and defeating them will grant you new medals. In addition to these three main bosses, there are also some NPCs returning to the map from whom you can obtain special weapons. Cerebus is one of the bosses that players face in Chapter 5 Season 2, and the character is still present in the game along with his signature weapon.

The Cerebus Guardian shotgun is considered to be the most powerful melee weapon in the game. Basically, with this mythical weapon, you'll be able to destroy your enemies with a single headshot.
