Weekly quests in Fortnite offer a straightforward and efficient path to leveling up quickly. These quests are generally easy to complete, especially when you understand the requirements. One such quest involves damaging opponents in Landmarks. While dealing damage is a relatively simple task, locating Landmarks can be challenging for newcomers. However, once you familiarize yourself with their locations, you’ll be able to complete this quest with ease. Let’s explore how to effectively damage opponents in Fortnite Landmarks.

Fortnite: How to damage opponents in Landmarks Chapter 5, season 4

To complete the Landmarks quest in Fortnite, you need to inflict a total of 500 damage on enemies while situated at a Landmark location. This can be achieved by targeting both human players and non-player character (NPC) enemies, such as Doom's Henchmen.

Landmarks are small, unmarked areas scattered throughout the map, distinct from the primary Points of Interest (POIs) labeled on the map. If you're uncertain whether you're at a Landmark, attempt to leave and re-enter the area. A small notification will appear in the bottom left corner if you're indeed within a Landmark.

To locate a Landmark, keep an eye out for a small message that reads "Landmark" upon entering an area. You can find an example of this in the accompanying screenshot. Once you've identified a Landmark, seek out an enemy to engage in combat. NPCs are generally easier to defeat due to their inferior aim, but human players are also viable targets and are often more readily available.

Remember, the key to completing this quest is to find a Landmark, locate an enemy, and inflict damage upon them. With a bit of exploration and strategic targeting, you'll be well on your way to completing this Fortnite challenge.
