These special quests require you to find a specific type of terminal, spend some of your hard-earned gold bars, and then deal a significant amount of damage to enemy players in a short amount of time. Since the locations of these terminals are randomized each match, finding one is half the battle.

Where to Find a Hunter SHADOW Briefing

SHADOW Briefings are small terminals that look like white notebooks on your map. While their spawn locations are fixed across the island, there's no guarantee that a specific type of briefing will be at a certain location in any given match.However, certain areas are more likely to have a briefing terminal. To increase your odds of finding a Hunter SHADOW Briefing, you should prioritize dropping into popular points of interest (POIs) that are known to be spawn locations for SHADOW Briefings.

• Reckless Railways
• Fencing Fields
• Restored Reels
• Grand Glacier

Check these and other POIs, and if a SHADOW Briefing terminal has spawned there, you'll see it as a small white magnifying glass icon on your minimap.

What is a Hunter SHADOW Briefing?

A Hunter SHADOW Briefing is a quest that gives you a weapon with tracking ammo for a limited time. Once you accept the quest, you have five minutes to deal 300 damage to enemy players with this weapon. The goal is to track and eliminate opponents, not generic enemies like bugs or the Queen.

To begin the quest, you'll have to spend 250 gold bars at the terminal. Once you've paid, a timer will start, and you must complete the damage objective before it runs out.

How to Complete a Hunter SHADOW Briefing

Completing this quest can be tricky because it requires you to find a terminal,spend gold, and then find an enemy player to damage—all within a tightfive-minute window. It's often a good idea to scout the area for nearbyenemies before you interact with the terminal.

Here are the steps to successfully complete a Hunter SHADOW Briefing:

• Find a terminal: Locate a SHADOW Briefing terminal at one of the known spawn locations.
• Spend gold bars: Interact with the terminal and spend 250 gold bars to start the quest. You'll receive a weapon with tracking ammo.
• Find and damage opponents: Use the provided weapon to deal a total of 300 damage to enemy players within the five-minute time limit.

Don't be discouraged if it takes you a few tries. Hunter SHADOW Briefings can be a little difficult to complete, especially if you get unlucky withyour spawn or can't find another player quickly enough. Keep trying, and you'll eventually get it done.
