This resource is unlocked at level 2 and to get it you will have to make Sand Pit. But first, you will have to go up to Level 2 and unlock the structure.

Sand Pit will be in the "Buildings" menu, so click on the Buildings Menu icon to open it or press "B". The first icon in the second column is the Sand Pit icon and you will need to find planks and timbers to build the sand pit.

You must keep in mind that Sand Pit cannot be made randomly, but in the places with a sand icon. You will be able to see a yellow patch of land after placing the sand pit to build. You can build two sand pits if you have enough villagers and when the Sand Pits are built, you can extract sand from them.
