Along the train tracks near Whitespring Station: ~5 shiny plastic beads.

Tips for Collecting and Using Glitter Resin

To collect more shiny resin, the player must have the Green Thumb trait. While it may seem strange, this perception-based achievement allows players to collect twice as many plants. So instead of getting one Shining Resin from the tree, players will collect two.

Another thing players can do when crafting with shiny plastic is to use the Super Duper achievement. This benefit gives players a 30% chance of winning double the amount they generate.

This applies to most of the consumable items that can be crafted in the game. Like most consumables, glow resin has a status bar. Once the bar is used up, the shiny plastic will degrade. To prevent this, players can use the Fine with Salt feature to reduce the rate of food spoilage.

There is also a backpack mod called Grocer's Backpack that works similarly to Good With Salt. Players can also craft refrigerators and freezers in their camp to slow the decomposition rate of shiny plastic.
