Despite the fact that a lot of people do not have any experience with eSports, a quick look at the industry now and a few years ago reveals that it has exploded in popularity. Today, millions of people worldwide watch their favorite players and teams in action. Furthermore, a lot of people make a living off eSports one way or another.

When talking about eSports, most people immediately think of PCs and mobile devices because those are the leading platforms for these activities. However, this doesn’t mean that there aren’t any esports titles on Xbox. The latter is becoming one of the hottest options for gamers worldwide, so let’s learn more about the things we can expect to find in the future.

A lot more options to bet on Xbox eSports

One of the reasons for the growing popularity of eSports is the fact that many people bet on it. Gamblers often have difficulties finding the proper website that offers such services, but the best esports betting sites reveal that there are plenty of alternatives, most of which are available in many parts of the world. Those places allow gamblers to wager on the game they want and place a bet on a wide range of games, teams, and players.  With that said, almost all of these sites only allow users to bet on eSports that are being played on PC or Mobile devices.

Considering the growing popularity of Xbox, we would not be surprised if most gambling websites decide to expand their portfolio and allow users to wager on games that are being played on this console. Only a few sites do that right now, but their number is prone to change.

In terms of the games that people can play on an Xbox, there are many options to choose from, and some of them have an active eSports scene. We will learn more about this in the next chapter of the article.

There will be even more eSports titles on Xbox

One of the problems that a lot of people do consider when talking about online betting and Xbox is related to the titles that they can play on. There is no arguing that the number of Xbox games is impressive, however, if you take a look at those that are regarded as eSports, you will see that there are only a few options to choose from.

There are a few good examples to choose from, such as Overwatch 2, a game made by Blizzard. The latter is trying to refine its game so that more and more people start playing, so we expect to have many more Xbox tournaments in the future.

CoD is another popular title that Xbox fans can put to the test. There are loads of different Call of Duty tournaments out there, and many of them are held on Xbox or a different console. Considering more people are interested in console gaming, it is just a matter of time before those events become more than the ones on PC.

Speaking of eSports titles, the bad news for Xbox users is that some of the biggest titles in this genre are not available for consoles yet, and it seems like they never will be. CS2 is a really good example because Valve’s newest game is taking over the world. There are tons of tournaments to watch, so it’s no surprise many people are interested in it.

Dota 2 is also an example of a game that’s incredibly popular among eSports fans, but the game is only available on a PC. Hopefully, Microsoft will find a way to provide all hot titles on its platform in the future.

Special kinds of Xbox features

In order to popularize the eSports industry among Xbox users, Microsoft could decide to change a lot of things about the console and the way it works. One of the options we expect to see is a lot of additional features that will allow people to follow the eSports they like up close. For example, we could see special menus that will give us access to stats, one-click live streaming, predictions, and many other things.

We need to remember that one of the world’s richest companies is behind Xbox, so if the brand decides to invest in this industry, we can expect a lot of new things. Microsoft also acquired Blizzard in 2023, so we can clearly see that it wants to invest in gaming.
