1. Strategic Approach Depending on Spawn Location:

  • Chalet Side: Move towards the water treatment plant as discreetly as possible. It's really a favorite spot to camp out and pick off people trying to push on the plant.
  • Near Water Treatment: If you spawn close to the actual plant, you're free to skip it. Go directly towards the island-like section with wooden houses, close to the extraction point Path to Shoreline.

2. Locate the Hideout:

  • Move to the village area on the eastern part of the Lighthouse map.
  • Find the island-like section that contains wooden houses near the extraction point called the Path to Shoreline. It is referred to as an island because there's a tiny body of water separating it and the mainland village.

3. Get the Message:

-Locate the small, bunker-like wooden entrance in the island-like section near the main road of the village.

  • The note to Jaeger is buried just beneath this door.
  • Press on the note to pick it up.

4. Extraction:

  • Path to Shoreline: This offers the quickest and most direct extraction, but with high player traffic, especially if you weren't efficient with your loot.
  • Mountain Pass (Alternate): This is an extraction method requiring a Red Rebel ice pick and Paracord to activate. It's slower, though often less congested, making for a safer route out of the area.

Additional Considerations:


  • Kit: Light gear would suffice on this quest; however, silenced pistols will be very effective to take out Scavs coming across the village area.
  • Security: Village is a high-risk area because of the snipers from mountainous regions, specifically near the water purification plant. Always be aware and move with grace to not get noticed.
