Returning to The Lab, you must complete the Find the Source quest in Escape from Tarkov after navigating the Streets of Tarkov for the previous quest. No amount of money in the flea market will unlock the quest's room, but you'll have a 100% chance of finding it if you spawn in that exact spot. In order to progress toward the 2024 Halloween event conclusion, here is how to locate the key and complete the Find the Source mission in Escape from Tarkov.
The following goals must be met in order to fulfill the Find the Source task while surviving a raid:
You must securely retrieve a diary that contains information about various locations from The Lab. Having a solid arsenal to fight with zombies is essential if you want to survive and extract. Since this mission carries an exceptionally high degree of danger, a semi-automatic shotgun equipped with a solid backup weapon would suffice.
Because there are eleven potential spawn points for the TerraGroup Labs Residential Unit Keycard, you can refer to our other guide for a complete list of them. You won't have to travel far to find any spawning because they're all inside the containment block.
Enter the confinement block through the main entrance and look for residential unit 07—it's in the small compartment—after you have the TerraGroup Labs Residential Unit Keycard. You may open the room with a simple swipe of the keycard; the door even has a 07 mark next to it.
There are five different ways to find the journal once you enter the chamber. On the floor adjacent to the counter, near the right-hand bed, is where you can find the first one.
The location of the next spawn is adjacent to the desk, books, and plant.
To the left of the top bunk bed mattress is where you'll find the next spawn point.
On the left bunk bed, beside the pillow, is the fourth potential spawn.
Next to the left bunk bed, by the other counter, is where you'll find the last spawn. Next to the counter, you can find it on the floor as well. Even if you have the journal, it's still worth looting the room for the valuable items that spawn within. Bronze Lions, Bitcoins, and other probable spawning can be found on the beanbags, shelf, mattresses, and table.
If things start to get dicey, you can always dash to the hospital block elevator—the closest and safest exit—just below. The medical block elevator is conveniently located right next to the containment block's entrance, making it easy to reach from any floor.

Two Zagustin stims are the next item required. You should put one on before the match begins to protect yourself from the virus and any bleeding that may occur. As you dash out of the chamber and head toward the extraction, you'll need to use the second Zagustin. Although it does not cure the infection, zagustin does make you immune to it. For its effects to kick in, you need use it before the zombies attack. Obtaining the TerraGroup Labs Residential Unit Keycard is the next step; it may be found in The Lab at a 100% spawn rate. It is impossible to purchase at a flea market; a raid is the only way to acquire it.
