How to Increase Discovery in Elden Ring?

We have made a guide with the aim of explaining how to increase discovery in Elden Ring.
In Elden Ring, you can find a wide range of weapons and armor to enhance your build and gameplay. Most of these armaments can be used when defeating bosses and looting chests, but specific ones, such as the Grave Scythe and Banished Knight's Greatsword, only have a small chance to drop from common enemies. These weapons have only a 2% to 8% drop chance, making them difficult and time-consuming to farm.

How to increase discovery in Elden Ring?

Fortunately, there are a few ways to increase the drop rate. The chance of getting a button depends on your character's discovery stats. Players can find in this guide all the ways to improve their discovery stat, which will increase the drop rate of items that enemies drop in this game.

How to improve research in Elden Ring?

There are three ways to improve your character's discovery stats:

Silver Scarab Talisman
Pickled silver bird leg
Developing the Arcane Stat
Silver Scarab Talisman

The best way to increase the drop rate of items is to equip the Silver Scarab Talisman. The character's discovery stat is increased by 75 with this talisman. Team building will be easier with the Silver Beetle.

The Silver Scarab, however, has a disadvantage. This talisman is found on the hidden path that leads to Haligtree, one of the final dungeons of the game. You will need to defeat Morgott and obtain half of Haligtree's Medallion bothets before you can reach Haligtree's Hidden Path. Next, go to Rold's Great Elevator to use the Haligtree Medallion and then go to the Hidden Path to Haligtree.

After entering the Hidden Path towards Haligtree, head straight to the hallway with stairs that leads to a rounded platform with a broken railing on one side. He moves along this side to reach an invisible path. To find a narrow hallway, head straight to the archway ahead. There is a Grave Glovewort at the end of this hallway [9]. A section of the wall behind can be revealed containing the Silver Scarab Talisman chest.

Pickled silver bird leg

The Silver Pickled Bird's Leg is a craftable item that increases discovery by 50 points for 5 minutes. To make a Silver Pickled Bird's Foot, you will need three Rowa Fruits, a Four-Toed Bird's Foot, and a Silver Firefly. Red Limgrave bushes have Rowa fruits, and silver fireflies are common in the Siofra River and Limgrave Caves. However, only the rare Limgrave guillemots and eagles can land with four-toed bird feet.

Crafting is not the only way to obtain silver pickled bird legs. Three of them are also available in Gatekeeper Gostoc. Others exist in different places in the Lands Between, such as in a cabin north of the Gate Town Bridge grace site in Liurnia and on the ledge of a pillar behind the Stranded Graveyard.

Increase esoteric stat

Each point spent in Arcane increases your character's discovery stat by 1 until you max it out. Because they have a much higher item drop rate than other builds, Arcane builds are best for farming equipment. However, if you don't intend to build a build focused on the Arcane stat, you can slightly increase the Arcane with the following talismans and weaponry:

Marika's Soreseal Talisman for +5 Arcane.
Marika's Scarseal Talisman for +3 Arcane
Silver Tear Mask for 8 Arcana
Albinauric Mask for +4 Arcane
Confidence Mask for three Arcana
The witch's stone crown shines with three arcana.
Imp Head (Elder) for +2 Arcane.
Marais Mask for +1 Arcane

Godrick's Great Rune can also increase all stats, including Arcane, by 5. The same effect can be duplicated with the War Ash Grafted Blade Greatsword: Oath of Punishment. You can significantly increase your discovery stat with all this equipment, which will increase your item drop rate.
