If you're wondering how to turn on the Rampart Tower elevator in Castle Stormveil in Elden Ring, the first thing you need to do is exit through the door in the north corner of the room > turn left to take out the three Warhawks guarding the walls. The third one will have an explosive barrel, which you could blow up by running away and pulling it towards the barrels on the ground.

Proceed to the parapet stairs where the third Warhawk came from > jump to the westernmost point of the parapet wall > then you will need to drop off the wall to the ledge below and proceed along the ledge to the north > drop onto the ledge narrow that is along the wall of the castle itself. Make your way along this ledge until you drop into the ruined tower below at the end.

Here you will find a corpse that you must loot to get a damaged wooden shield. Then you'll need to fall a few more times, then head south along the wall > head to the edge of the cliff and look down for the rocky outcrop below that you'll need to fall onto.
