Upon arrival, you will have to advance to the northern end of Liurnia, to find Carian Manor, where you will have to eliminate a boss to access the location of the Three Sisters. In this location you will find three towers. Ranni's Rise, in which you will find Ranni to start with the questline.

After completing the quest line you will find Blaidd outside of Ranni's Rise who you will need to eliminate in order to get the Royal Greatsword.
