Excitedly heralded by JRPG enthusiasts since its grand reveal at E3 2021, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes has been a highly anticipated title that was expected to grace consoles and PCs with its presence in 2022. However, several obstacles prolonged the patience and fervor of the players, as well as the impact of the pandemic and the obstacles to development, now the long-awaited JRPG, directed by the late Yoshitaka Murayama, is now available. Those of us lucky enough to own the Deluxe Edition can enjoy the game now, while the rest will have to have a little patience. Taking into account the start of early access, it will be officially released on April 23 at 8 AM ET. m. PDT (11 a.m. EDT or 5 a.m. UTC). The digital launch will be simultaneous for all platforms: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. However, physical copies of the Switch edition will not be available until May 21. Initially scheduled for release in October 2022, it suffered delays due to the hampering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, pushing the release back to 2023. Unfortunately, 505 Games pushed the release date even further to April 2024. Fortunately, the wait is finally over and around the world we can expect to receive our digital copies before April 23. While some physical editions may be delivered by April 23, others may take longer depending on the recipient's location.

March 2024 marked the beginning of this game's closed beta, granting exclusive entry to players who backed the Physical Edition (or higher) of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes on Kickstarter. Following this, global early access began on April 21 at 8 AM ET. m. PDT (11 a.m. EDT) for all Deluxe Edition buyers. Backers also got one-day early access to Deluxe Edition content compared to non-backers.

It will launch on day one for Game Pass. Subscribers can download the standard version on April 21 at 8 a.m. PT. m. PDT (11 a.m. EDT), coinciding with the game's global launch. Both PC and Xbox users with an active subscription will have the privilege of accessing the game upon release. Pre-download has been available since mid-April, allowing players to have it ready to play right away.
