How to get Citrine in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
First and foremost, getting the Pickaxe is the primary step toward acquiring Citrine in Disney Dreamlight Valley, which is obtained after completing the "Royal Tools" mission.
Once you have the Pickaxe, find rock piles with Citrine sticking out of them in their bright orange color and smash them to get the gem. Note this resource is not guaranteed with each rock pile you destroy.
Where to find Citrine in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
Now that you have the Pickaxe and know how to mine for Citrine, here's how you find this valuable gemstone.
Citrine ore can be mined from within the Sunlit Plateau and Glade of Trust biomes, which themselves are unlocked with 7,000 and 5,000 Dreamlight respectively. Not all locations within those biomes will allow extraction of the resource.
You can clear some areas in Sunlit Plateau by doing the "Circle of Life" quest once you've reached Level 7 friendship with Scar. By doing this quest, you will be granted the power of the Roaring Shovel Head, which helps you clear the bones that block certain areas of your exploration.
Moreover, to clear similar areas in the Glade of Trust, you'll want to do the "A Dark Experiment" quest that Merlin gives once his friendship reaches Level 8.
How to make the most of Citrine in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Now that you have found how to get Citrine from both the Glade of Trust and the Sunlit Plateau, it is time to use this orange gem.
Citrine is among the most sought-after items in the character's Friendship Quests. This also fits in nicely in the Crafting Table, allowing you to fashionably cool furniture pieces, such as an Orange Light and Round Lamppost.
The regular Citrine costs 380 Star Coins, while its shiny version can be sold for a whopping 1,500 Star Coins.
