Discover How to Grab in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero with this excellent and explanatory detailed guide.
An integral part of the fighting system in Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero are Grab Attacks, often known as Throws. When used strategically, they can evade hostile guards and inflict harm. You can use them to launch your opponent, which means they will have to time their vanish exactly if they want to escape, or set them up for an Ultimate or Super Attack.
Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero requires you to know when and how to throw. You can do some serious damage and pull off some hilarious combos when you couple it with disappears. This tutorial will walk you through the basics of grabbing, go over some of the special mechanics of throws, and show you some basic combinations you can pull off with grabs. The video up above demonstrates the game's Throw Tutorial before moving on to showcase the cast's more creative grabs.
Fortunately, Dragon Ball Sparking allows you to conduct a Throw! As far as numbers go, zero is reasonably simple. All you have to do is press the Rush Attack button while holding down the block button.
The Throw action can be initiated with the following button presses:
You can fling your opponent away and do damage to them with a single grab strike because they can't be blocked. You can even continue damaging downed adversaries by grabbing them. Grabs are countered by Super Perception or avoided by Vanishing. They're also interruptable if assaulted while they're being executed, because they're slower than typical Rush Attacks.
After landing a Throw, you can prolong your combo by performing an Ultimate or Super Attack. Your opponent will have a considerably more difficult time avoiding your Super Attack and will need to precisely time a Vanish to do so after a successful Throw, since they will be flying through the air. (Beam and Blast Supers, in my opinion, get to your opponent more fast, making it harder to timing your Vanishes for them compared to Melee Supers.)
In most cases, you should use Grabs on adversaries that are blocking your path or who are lying on the ground after being attacked. Grabs are most effective during these moments, but you can also employ Z-Burst Dashes to disappear behind an enemy and then use grabs to set up your Ultimate and Super Attacks easily.
For specific enemies, several characters have special grab animations that are based on their strikes from the anime or manga. As an illustration, Toppo's distinctive grab motion versus Freiza alludes to their encounter in the Tournament of Power. To encourage you to seek them out even more, these exceptional grabs deal somewhat more damage than regular throws, and you may earn rewards for discovering them in Whis' Stamp Book.
We hope that the information detailed here about How to Grab in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero has been very useful for your fun and progress in this great game.
