How To Get To The Chest In The Castle Bailey
To unlock the chest in Castle Bailey, do the following:
- 1. Enter Castle Bailey: Take the Bailey entrance via the Grey Warden Castle to the south.
- 2. Taash's Ability: Utilize Taash's ability-or Rook's dagger-to blow up the explosive barrel that rests on the wall to your right.
- 3. Go Up the Ladder: Go up the ladder revealed by the explosion.
- 4. Cross Beams: Use the wooden beams here to cross, turning right as you go.
- 5. First Platform: Find the first of several wooden platforms.
- 6. Optional Detour: Items: Optional detour: going left collects the Shimmering Sight Charm Amulet and a quest item.
- 7. On the Beams: Head forward now on the beams into the castle wall.
- 8. To the Tower: Follow the beam path to the tower.
- 9. Item Collection: Collect the Free Marches Guardian Memento and the Warden's Key Amulet from the chest inside the tower.
- 10. Down the Ladder: Go down the ladder to the platform.
- 11. Chest Platform Jump: Leap carefully to the left of the ladder to the platform with the chest holding Rook's new weapon.
Note: Be careful at the jump across to the last platform as you'll fall into Bailey. Make sure you have the right skills, like Taash's or Rook's dagger in order to place an explosive barrel.
