Disney Dreamlight Valley's enchanting Dreamlight Parks Fest event is currently underway, running from May 28 until June 17. Over these few weeks, players will embark on a delightful scavenger hunt to collect five distinct button types, which are then used to craft a charming array of themed furniture items to adorn their villages. Let's delve into every button type, how to acquire them, and how to utilize them during this festive event.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to find all buttons

The Dreamlight Parks Fest event features five unique button types, each with its own method of acquisition:
  • Red buttons: Randomly spawn around Villager houses, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Blue buttons: Randomly appear as you fish in Dazzle Beach and Peaceful Meadow.
  • Green buttons: Primarily obtained as daily and weekly quest rewards.
  • Flower buttons: Randomly spawn as sparkling red flowers around the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow.
  • Purple buttons: Exclusively crafted using a combination of Red and Blue buttons.
Collecting each button type is crucial, as it unlocks new Popcorn Bucket furniture items for placement in your village. Crafting every available item will require hundreds of buttons, so be prepared for extensive questing, fishing, and foraging.Alternative Button Acquisition (Returning Players): If you've participated in previous iterations of this event and wish to recreate existing Popcorn Buckets, you can use the Cheshire Cat’s Uncrafting Station to disassemble your old furniture. This process returns the buttons to you, albeit in exchange for some Dreamlight and time.

Red Buttons: The Abundant House Find

You'll commonly discover red buttons spawning around and even inside villager houses. While they most frequently appear outdoors, keep an eye out for them within character homes as well. Given that crafting purple buttons requires two red buttons for every one purple, you'll need to actively hunt for a large quantity of these if you aim to craft every Dreamlight Parks Fest furniture item.

Blue Buttons: The Catch of the Day

Blue buttons are acquired by fishing in Dazzle Beach and Peaceful Meadow. To maximize your blue button yield, focus exclusively on white fishing circles. These buttons spawn only in these specific white circles. Fishing in regular water or higher-tier (blue or gold) fishing spots will yield fish instead, so direct your efforts solely towards the white circles when button-hunting.

Green Buttons: Questing for Collectibles

Unlike other button types, green buttons have a limited daily spawn, as they are exclusively obtained by completing daily and weekly missions. The following characters can provide you with daily green button quests:

  • Scrooge McDuck
  • Ursula
  • WALL-E
  • Mickey Mouse
  • Moana

Completing their daily quests typically involves cooking cupcakes and gifting them to villagers, rewarding you with four green buttons per completed quest. With wellover 100 green buttons needed to craft every Popcorn Bucket item, consistent daily quest completion is vital.

Here’s a list of every cupcake type you’ll need for each villager's daily quest:

VillagerCupcakeCupcake Recipe

MoanaPrincess Aurora CupcakesMilk, Wheat, Butter, Sugarcane, Raspberry
Scrooge McDuckStitch CupcakesMilk, Wheat, Butter, Sugarcane, Blueberry
UrsulaMermaid CupcakesMilk, Wheat, Butter, Sugarcane, Scallop
WALL-ESpaceship Earth CupcakesMilk, Wheat, Butter, Sugarcane, Coconut

You'll also encounter weekly quests from Scrooge McDuck and Mirabel that contribute to your green button collection. Scrooge's weeklyquests primarily involve decorating your village with DreamlightParks-themed items and digging for minerals while hanging out with him.Mirabel, on the other hand, will ask you to take photos of squirrels.

Flower Buttons: Blooming in the Meadows

Flower buttons appear as unique red flowers sparkling on the ground around the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow. The buttons themselves are a bright yellow, reminiscent of red passionlilies. When you see a distinct red flower emitting a sparkle, you'vespotted a flower button.

Purple Buttons: The Crafted Rarity

Purple buttons are a crafting-exclusive item, requiring you to combine blue and red buttons with Dreamlight. Their exact crafting recipe is:

  • Blue Button (1)
  • Red Button (2)
  • Dreamlight (100)

These are arguably the most challenging buttons to obtain due to the need tofarm both blue and red buttons, alongside a significant amount ofDreamlight. While you won't need hundreds of these like other buttontypes, you'll still require a few dozen. Monitor your purple buttoncount as you work towards crafting all your Popcorn Buckets.

How to Use Buttons in Disney Dreamlight Valley Parks Fest

Once you've collected your buttons, head to your crafting bench and access the furniture menu. Here, you'll find the dedicated Dreamlight Parks Fest furniture section. The primary feature of this event is the various Popcorn Buckets, which are crafted using your collected buttons. Different bucketsrequire varying numbers and types of buttons, with green and flowerbuttons being the most commonly used.

As you craft these delightful buckets, you can combine them with otherfurniture items (including those unlocked throughout the event) todecorate your Disney Dreamlight Valley village. Remember, you have until June 17 to craft every item and complete the event's quests, so it's advisable to start as soon as possible to get a head start.
