👑 The Pumpkin and the Princess: Cinderella’s Unlock Path

Cinderella does not reside in a mystical realm behind the Dream Castle. Instead, she is initially trapped by a protective pumpkin enchantment that requires a precise series of steps to break. The entire process is encapsulated within the quest aptly named “The Pumpkin and the Princess.”To bring Cinderella to the Valley, you must successfully complete these three major requirements:

• Unlock the Fairy Godmother.
• Find Cinderella’s Lost Shoe.
• Complete The Pumpkin and the Princess Quest.

1️⃣ Prerequisite: Unlocking the Fairy Godmother

Cinderella's arrival is directly dependent on the presence and assistance of herpowerful mentor. Before you can even begin the true unlock process, the Fairy Godmother must be an active resident of your Valley.

The Fairy Godmother's Quest Chain

• Pillar Restoration: The Fairy Godmother's journey begins after you have successfullyrepaired all six corrupted Pillars scattered throughout the Valley.
• The Forgotten Lands: You must unlock the Forgotten Lands biome. Her iconic pumpkin house will be waiting for you there.
• Key Quests: Her recruitment is finalized through a specific sequence of quests:
  • Miracles Take Time (Initial appearance)
  • Forgotten Memories: Friendship
  • Forgotten Memories: Trust
  • Forgotten Memories: Nurturing
  • What’s Left Behind (Final quest where she is unlocked as a villager).

Once the Fairy Godmother is officially residing in the Valley, you are ready to proceed with the princess's quest.

2️⃣ The Missing Glass Slipper: Finding Cinderella’s Shoe

The quest for Cinderella begins with a postal delivery containing an urgent message from the Fairy Godmother.

Initiating the Search

• Check Your Mailbox: Sometime after unlocking the Fairy Godmother, check any mailbox near ahouse in the Valley. You should find a new letter titled: “Fancy footwear gone astray? See your Fairy Godmother today!” Read this letter to begin the hunt for the missing slipper.
• Search the Plaza: The key location for the search is the Plaza biome, located centrally in the Valley. Cinderella's shoe will spawn randomly within this area.
• The Hunt: The shoe can appear anywhere within the boundaries of the Plaza—next to shop entrances, near the wishing well, or, as some players found, right by the staircase leading to the Peaceful Meadow. Crucially, the shoe can only appear in the Plaza, so focus your search there.

Once the lost slipper is found, you possess the item needed to break the enchantment.

3️⃣ Breaking the Curse: Completing the Final Quest

With the shoe in hand, the next steps involve preparation, construction, and a bit of magical decorating to complete the quest, “The Pumpkin and the Princess.”

Crafting and Construction

• Meet the Fairy Godmother: Travel to the Fairy Godmother’s pumpkin house and speak with her.
• Craft the Enchantment: You will be tasked with crafting the necessary Wish Enchantment and then growing a specific item: the Small Spell Pumpkin.
• Build Cinderella’s House: Before summoning her, you must prepare her permanent residence. Place the outline for Cinderella’s house anywhere you desire in the Valley.
• Pay Scrooge: Interact with Scrooge McDuck’s sign at the construction site and spend 15,000 Star Coins to complete the house construction.

The Grand Reveal

• Place the Spell Pumpkin: Go to the Plaza biome and place the Small Spell Pumpkin close to the wishing well.
• Decorate the Area: The final step requires you to prepare the area for her arrival. You must decorate around the Spell Pumpkin with eight specific furniture items. These items must be classified as elegant and feature the colors yellow and blue.
• Interact and Unlock: Once the decorations are in place, interact with the enchanted pumpkin. The spell will break, freeing Cinderella, and allowing you toofficially welcome her as a new villager to Disney Dreamlight Valley!
