Where to Find Karl’s Sheep in Discounty

In the cozy-but-chaotic world of Discounty, building relationships with the locals is key to expanding your business. One of the most important figures to befriend is Karl the Farmer, who holds the key to a range of new products for your supermarket. You'll find Karl to the northeast of the main town, but your first encounter will be with a huge tree blocking his farm.He's reluctant to do any deals with you due to your family's history, but you can earn his trust by helping him with his sheep. Here is a breakdown of the quests you will encounter and where to find the sheep you need.

All of Karl’s Sheep Location in Discounty

Part 1: The Main Quest - "Ramifications"

The primary quest to earn Karl's trust is called "Ramifications," which begins after you first meet him. This quest does not involve finding all eight of his sheep in a scavenger hunt, but rather two specific tasks.

1. Find Fluffles

The first step is to find Karl's prized sheep, Fluffles. This sheep isn't in the main town, but in the Ragged Forest, which you will unlock through story progression. Once you're in the forest, look for a building complex in the southwest corner. You'll find Fluffles there. After you interact with him, he will return to Karl's farm.

2. Help Karl with the Culling

After you return Fluffles, Karl will ask for your help with a problem he's having with the other sheep. You can choose to either help him orconsult Hilda, a local who used to help with this task.

• Option A (Help Karl): Agree to help him and proceed with his request.
• Option B (Talk to Hilda): If you talk to Hilda, she will propose a new task: to tag all the sheep on the farm, including Fluffles, to teach Karl a lesson.

Either way, completing this quest will earn Karl's trust and unlock his Tier 2 trade deal, allowing you to buy and sell new products like sheep'scheese.

Part 2: The "Sleepy Sheep" Side Quest

In a separate side quest, you may encounter a single, sleepy sheepblocking a fast-travel sewer grate in the forest. You will need tocomplete this quest to fully unlock the fast travel point.

• Location: You'll find the sheep, named Sleepy Dora, inside an abandoned building in the Forest, on top of a sewer grate.
• Solution: After finding the sheep, talk to Karl. He will tell you that the sheep simply needs to be woken up with an Energy Drink. You can unlock Energy Drinks by spending Discounty Points, and once you have one, give it to the sheep. She will then move, clearing the sewergrate and unlocking the fast travel point.

Part 3: Finding All Eight Sheep (The Scavenger Hunt)

Some players have found a side objective or achievement that involveslocating a number of sheep hidden throughout the town. These are notpart of a specific quest with Karl, but rather a separate scavengerhunt. Here are the locations of all eight sheep, if you are looking tofind them.

• Sheep #1: Located by the antique store to the north, next to Blomkest’s Bank.
• Sheep #2: Found near the road, hidden by a tree.
• Sheep #3: Near the closed bar called "Cursed but Curious," close to your store.
• Sheep #4: Located right next to your Discounty store, hidden behind a fence.
• Sheep #5: Hiding behind a tree next to Isenkram's Hardware.
• Sheep #6: By the church, near the center of the town.
• Sheep #7: In the harbor, to the east by the shipping containers and railings.
• Sheep #8: At the southernmost part of the harbor, by the docks, next to a pedestal behind a ship.

After completing the main "Ramifications" quest, you will be able to strike a trade deal with Karl and sell new products at your Discounty store.
