It also has other features such as a friends list, group DMs, and a searchable message history.

How to share screen on Discord?

To share your screen on Discord, you first need to be in a call either through your friend list or in a server. If you’re in a server, look for the Screen button with a monitor and arrow icon at the bottom left corner of the screen. If you’re in a call, the screen button will be in the call controls at the bottom center. 

When you click the Screen button, you’ll be given the option to share your entire screen or choose a specific application or window to stream. After you’ve chosen what to stream, click the Screen button again to start the broadcast. 


For a higher resolution and better streaming quality, you must be a Discord Nitro subscriber. Nitro subscribers can stream up to 1080p at 60 frames per second, while the non-Nitro version streams at 720p at 30 frames per second.


Once you’re done sharing, click the Screen button again to stop streaming. This will also stop the voice call, so you’ll need to start a new call if you want to keep talking. You can also stop streaming directly from the screens option by clicking the stop sharing icon at the bottom left corner of the screen.
