- Increases Critical Strike Damage by [80 to 100]%
- Increases Maximum Vigor by [12 to 24]
- Increases Velocity Skill ranks by [2 to 4]
- Has a [26 to 35]% chance for Core skills to trigger additional effects
A one-of-a-kind quarterstaff, the Rod of Kepeleke is exclusive to the Spiritborn class in Diablo 4. Your Core Skills will now be tagged with Basic Skill when you equip it. This means that they will be affected by any effects or affixes that affect Basic Skills. Plus, regardless of their regular Vigor Cost, none of your Basic Skills including Core Skills cost resources, but they inflict less damage overall.
Although this is a significant drawback for Rod of Kepeleke setups, it is nearly entirely offset by the second impact. This is due to the fact that utilizing a Core Skill while you are Max Vigor will result in that Core Skill using up all of your Vigor and dealing an additional amount of Crit damage equal to a rolled percentage for each Vigor used.
Diablo 4's Quill Volley Spiritborn build would be incomplete without the Rod of Kepeleke, which allows users to spam Quill Volley while sustaining almost 100% Vigor (due to other effects) to maximize damage with every cast.
Damage per hit, Crit Damage, Max Vigor, Velocity ranks, and Chance For Core Skills To Hit Twice are all variables that are determined when the Rod of Kepeleke is dropped, but Attack Speed and Block Chance are guaranteed. Also, when you use all of your Vigor to improve a Core Skill cast, the increased Crit Damage rolls from 1% to 3% each point.

Killing Tormented Echo of Andariel (also known as Uber Andariel) or getting lucky at the Obols vendor are the two ways to obtain the Rod of Kepeleke in Diablo 4.
In order for this rare Quarterstaff to drop from the Rod of Kepeleke, you need to have unlocked and chosen the Torment 1 difficulty or higher.
Andariel, the Maiden of Anguish, Loses the Rod of Kepeleke
A pair of Pincushioned Dolls and two Sandscorched Shackles are required to call upon the Tormented Echo of Andariel. The Beast in the Ice and Lord Zir are two locations where you can find Boss Summoning equipment.
The Beast In The Ice can be summoned with 12 times Distilled Fear, and Lord Zir with 12 times Exquisite Blood. The Fractured Peaks are home to both of these dungeon entrances.
Visit the Hanged Man's Hall in Kehjistan once you have gathered two of each Andariel summoning material. Make your way to the altar of summoning and vanquish the Tormented Echo of Andariel once you enter. Keep in mind that killing this boss will merely increase your chances of dropping the Rod of Kepeleke; doing so does not ensure that it will roll Ancestral stats or drop anything at all. Bringing along multiples of each summoning material, ideally about 10 of each, will increase your chances of acquiring it. This will allow you to get five solid Andariel kills in.
Obol vendors are more likely to drop unique items.
You can buy a variety of random items from the Purveyor of Curiosities for Murmuring Obols. There is a very high probability that this vendor, identified by a bag with a question mark on your world map, will drop legendary, unique, or even mythic unique items in Season 6.
To increase your chances of receiving double things from the Obol Vendor, slot four of your Smouldering Ashes (obtained through the Season Journey) into the Season Bonus. Raising this to 40% will allow you to harvest an abundance of obols from both World Events and The Pit. If you want Obols quickly in Season 6, you need to run the Pit as fast as possible. Set the level so you can complete it in under 5 minutes.
You can buy the Quarterstaff option from the Purveyor of Curiosities once you have enough Obols. You should bring a thousand or more Obols because this will cost 100 of them. With the seasonal boost, you should stock up on Quarterstaffs; with enough practice, you should be able to obtain the Rod of Kepeleke.
In case you grow weary of farming Andariel for drops, farming The Pit for obols is a reliable alternative. Additionally, keeping a Seething Opal active might help you advance in Glyphs and Zakarum repute.
