How to start the Salvation’s Edge raid in Destiny 2?

You can start the "Edge of Salvation" raid from the "Pale Heart" location in the Navigator. There's a button on the far right, so you'll have to scroll to find it. Note that the raid is in "Competitive Mode" for the first 48 hours. After this time, the required Enlightenment level will likely be reduced, though we can't say by how much. Raids are the main content, so most other PvE activities are a piece of cake.

What do I need to try the Edge of Salvation raid?

Before you take part in the rally, several prerequisites must be met. They don't appear in-game, but Bungie has mentioned them on social media and in weekly TWID posts. You must first complete the Final Shape campaign. The difficulty doesn't matter, although the Legendary run is preferred due to the gear received. More on this a bit later.

After completing the campaign, you must also complete a strange wildcard mission. I won't give spoilers here, but trust me, the reward for completing this mission is worth it, even if you're not the aggressor.

Ultimately, you need at least 1965 Light Tier and this is where Legend Clear comes into play. If you're strong enough to complete the Legendary campaign, you'll receive the full Light Tier 1965 gear set without much effort.

You'll need to bring the best gear and be prepared to unravel the complex mechanisms. Make sure you've unlocked all the skills, masks, and shards, and that you have the right weapons for each situation.
