Where can you find the Legendary Khvostov Auto Rifle in Destiny 2?
You need to make sure you have the best weapons possible when facing the Dread. Fortunately, Bungie returned to players in a more exotic version with an automatic rifle of the game's first weapon, the Khvostov 7G-0X. Their stats have been slightly modified and they have gained a new intrinsic ability. While the legendary weapons in The Final Shape are entertaining, nothing beats traditional weapons. If you want to get your hands on the Khvostov, you need to go to the Pale Heart, also known as inside the Traveler.
In the Traveler, where you first discovered the Khvostov weapon in D1/D2 New Light, you will find a golden chest with a cipher lock. To unlock the chest and get the Legendary Automatic Rifle, you must discover the 15 bits of encryption. Before you get this version of Khvostov, you need to complete some tasks after being in Pale Heart. First, you must complete the campaign and the following missions: Alone in the Dark. After completing this quest, you will be able to discover Cyst's activities in Pale Heart. Regional chests have nine bits and cysts have six.
All Nine Regional Chest Cipher Bit Locations for Destiny 2
Let's now begin to explain how to obtain the Crypto Bits, starting with the regional chests. Due to the considerable size of the Pale Heart destination, we divided the chest locations into three landing areas: Bloom, Impasse, and Arrival. I made sure to equip the Wombo Detector ghost mod, which can find resources and caches within a distance of 50 meters.
All 6 Destiny 2 Cyst Cipher Bit Locations
Now that you've obtained all 9 cipher bits from the regional chests, it's time to move on to the ones you can find during the cyst activity. There are 6 different types of Cyst missions, the same number, and finding them is easy. In each mission, you will reach a big boss arena at the end, and in the corners of these arenas, there is a locked door. The doors will unlock once you defeat the boss, allowing you to access and collect the encryption bits.
