Find out which difficulty should you choose in Dead Space Remake.

Which Difficulty Should You Choose in Dead Space Remake?

When playing Dead Space Remake, you'll be presented with a choice of difficulty levels to choose from. To decide which difficulty to go with, here's a breakdown of each difficulty level:

Story Mode: This is the easiest difficulty level, and it's recommended for those who are new to the game or to the genre. On Story Mode, Isaac takes less damage and has a longer lasting oxygen tank, in addition to automatic health regeneration.

Easy: If you're a beginner to the game or the genre, then Easy difficulty is the way to go.

Medium: This is the baseline difficulty level and is suitable for those who have some experience with the game or the genre.

Hard: This is the highest difficulty that is unlocked from the start of the game. On Hard, Isaac takes more damage while enemies take less.

Impossible: This is the hardest difficulty mode in the game, and it can only be unlocked after you complete the game on Hard difficulty. On Impossible, the same damage settings as Hard difficulty are used, but there are no autosave and only one life and one save slot available; should Isaac die, you'll have to restart the game or continue on Hard difficulty.

Enemy Grapple: This is a special mode that can only be unlocked after beating the game with the Impossible difficulty. On this mode, enemies will grapple onto Isaac, making it even harder to survive.
