Ten Burlap Strips and four Netting can be combined in the inventory to create the Ghillie Suit. All players have to do is grab the Netting and move the Burlap Strips to the "Combine" area. In case you didn't know, you can make burlap strips by slicing open a burlap bag with a knife, and you can usually find netting alongside beached boats.

Tips for Getting a Ghillie Suit in DayZ

In addition to being able to create Ghillie Suits using Burlap Strips and Netting, you can also find them plundered at the numerous helicopter crash sites in DayZ. Actually, you can only find the Woodland (Livonia exclusive) and Mossy (Chernarus unique) suits at the aforementioned crash sites; you can't create the tan Ghillie Suit.

The western side of Chernarus, particularly the area around Zelenogorsk, is rife with helicopter accident sites.
