Jedrus Tool Store Key Location

Your journey to find the Bolt Cutters begins in the first major area of the game. You'll encounter a locked hardware store with a sign hinting that the key is located in Block 34, Apartment 29.

• Locate Block 34: From the front of the locked tool store, head right through the double doors and out onto the street. You’ll immediately see a building labeled “34” directly in front of you. This is where you need to go.
• Navigate the Apartment Building: Once inside, you'll find a safe room to your right—a perfect spot to save your game and manage your limited inventory. As you make your way up the staircase, be on the lookout for green, pulsating sacks. These will explode if you get too close, so it's best to shoot them from a distance.
• Find Apartment 29: Your path will be blocked by tangled vines. Use your Flamethrower tool or shoot an explosive barrel to burn them away and clear a path. Continue to the third floor, where you'll have to burn through two more vine walls to reach Apartment 29 at the end of the hallway.
• Secure the Key: Inside the apartment, make sure to take out all the enemies first to secure the area. Once the coast is clear, head to the balcony and enter the adjacent room by going through a small, crumbling wall on the outside. You will find the Jedrus Tool Store Key sitting on a table inside.

How to Get the Bolt Cutters from the Tool Store

With the key in hand, it’s time to backtrack to the Jedrus Hardware Store and claim your prize.

• Open the Store: Use the key you just found to unlock the front door of the tool store.
• Access the Back Room: The Bolt Cutters are in a locked back room. To open the door, look foran opening or a window that allows you to see inside. You will spotanother vine wall blocking the entryway to the back room. Shoot theexplosive canister on the shelf to clear the vines.
• Defeat the Boss: As soon as you try to open the back room door, a large, powerful enemywill burst out. Be prepared for a tough fight! We recommend usingcharged shots from your shotgun to take it down quickly and efficiently.
• Claim Your Reward: Once the powerful foe is defeated, you can safely enter the back room and grab the Bolt Cutters.

With the Bolt Cutters in your possession, you can now return to all of those previously locked, chained doors and uncover the valuable resources,ammo, and upgrade materials hidden behind them.
