These cats aren’t just adorable distractions—they serve a meaningful purpose. Each one leads the player to hidden rooms filled with valuable resources, and petting them not only adds them to the Traveler’s journal but also rewards players with useful items, most notably Cores essential for upgrading the Traveler’s suit.To streamline your search, players can press R3/RS on their controller to display the current objective, which often aligns with the location of these elusive cats.Below is a comprehensive list of all known cat locations, their associated objectives, and the rewards they offer:

Borowka	Find the Predecessor	After unlocking the door using the Shop Key, Borowka can be found standing beside the staircase. Petting this cat grants you Shell Patch (Small) x1, a useful item for minor suit repairs.
Mela	Head for the Dive Point	Once you've obtained the Boltcutters, return to the square near the Hardware Store and retrace your steps to the original area. Unlock the previouslyinaccessible door to find Mela inside. She rewards you with the Traveler’s Seal Key, crucial for progressing further.
Karol	Find the Target: Edward Wisniewski	After securing the Shelter Key, exit the current zone and follow Karol to the playground on the right. Petting Karol grants you a Core, vital for suit enhancement.
Cynamon	Head for the Steelworks in Sector A-11	Once both tram generators are activated, head to the door opposite the tram station. Inside, Cynamon awaits with a Core as your reward.
Merlin	Head for the Dive Point	After acquiring the Gravity Boots, navigate through a series of gravity jumps. You’ll land on a pad with two paths—take the upward path to find Merlin. Petting him yields a Core.
Balbina	Launch the Ascendance Sequence	After activating the switchgear, backtrack to find a newly opened door on your left. Inside, Balbina offers a Core upon interaction.
Gus	Head to the hospital in Sector A-0	During this mission, you’ll encounter multiple gravity jumps. Look for a jump on the left blocked by wooden planks—shoot them to clear the path. Gus is waiting beyond, ready to give you a Core.
Bebola	Prepare the toxin	Inside the Operations Block (accessible via Wing B), ascend the stairs to a locked door requiring card access. Fight through enemies, then move the metal cabinet on the right to reveal a hidden door. Bebola is inside, offering a Core. Nearby, you’ll also find the Vasculum, essential for solving the Altar puzzle in the Chapel.
India	Power up the tram	While working to activate the second generator, locate the electronic panel on the wall. In the same room, squeeze through a narrow gap to reach India. Petting her grants the Toy Store Key, unlocking new exploration opportunities.
Freya	Head for the Dive Point	While attempting to open the church door, you’ll spot Freya darting across your path. Use the Boltcutters to open the gate, then turn right to find a crawlspace. Freya is inside, and petting her rewards you with the Rusty Key, which unlocks Father Wojciech’s Office.
