How to Investigate City Wall in Borderlands 4

The "Falling Wall" mission in Borderlands 4 is a pivotal step in the campaign, tasking Vault Hunters with infiltrating the heavily fortified Dominion City. A key objective, "Investigate the City Wall," can be tricky as it requires careful navigation without a clear waypoint. This step-by-step guide will lead you through every grapple point, canyon, and cave to successfully complete your investigation.

Navigating to Dominion City

Your journey begins after departing Moxxi's Bottoms Up in the Lopside area of Carcadia Burn. Head towards the eastern section of your map, where you'll spot a distinctive purple trail of Eridium. Follow this path eastward to enter Siltgrasp Canyon.

• Continue along the linear canyon path until you find a grapple point. Use it to advance.
• Shortly after, you'll discover the wreckage of Callis's ship from a previous mission. Enter the ship.
• Inside, locate and press the red button on the east side of the room. This opens a door leading directly into the Carcadia District of Dominion City.

How to Investigate the City Wall

Once inside Dominion, the real platforming begins. Your goal is to scale the city's defenses.

From your entry point, move forward and look for a pile of metal debris on your right. Climb onto it.

You will see a wind current. Walk into it to be launched upward, then immediately look left for another grapple point.

This grapple point leads to a linear path above the city. Follow it until you drop down into a hidden cave system.

Congratulations! You've successfully investigated the wall. This cave contains the Final Defiance Fast Travel Station, officially marking your entry into Dominion. Listen to Levaine'scommunication, then proceed down the rock slide and head east throughthe Carcadia District to find your next destination: The Lockaway.

Finding the Lockaway Datapad and Unlocking the Safehouse

The Lockaway serves as a crucial safehouse, but you must first activate it.

Enter The Lockaway building. Directly ahead on the northwest wall, you'll see a large mural of the Timekeeper.

Use your grapple hook on the mural to pull it down, revealing a staircase behind it.

Climb the stairs and use another grapple point to reach a higher ledge.

On this upper level, search a table against the north wall to find the essential Datapad.

With the Datapad in hand, turn around and activate the command console opposite the Golden Chest.

Finally, speak with Levaine via your ECHO device to complete the "Falling Wall"mission and secure The Lockaway as your new operational base.

By following this guide, you'll efficiently navigate the challenges ofDominion City and gain a vital foothold against the Timekeeper's forces.
