How To Get Gold Coins in Blue Prince

Aside from the guaranteed spawns in specific rooms, Gold Coins can alsoappear randomly in almost any location throughout the manor. Keep a keen eye out as you explore, as you never know where a few extra coins might turn up.

Enhancing Your Chances with the Metal Detector:

While random spawns are unpredictable, you can significantly improve yourodds of finding Gold Coins (and Keys) by acquiring and using a Metal Detector. This tool not only increases the general spawn rate of these valuableitems but also emits a beeping sound when you are in close proximity tothem, making them easier to locate. You can either find or purchase aMetal Detector within the game.

Strategic Room Avoidance: The Chapel:

Be cautious when navigating the manor and try to avoid entering the Chapel if possible. Each time you enter the Chapel, you will lose one Gold Coin. However, this negative effect can be negated if you draft the Shelter room in the Outer Room before you draft the Chapel. The Shelter provides protection against the Chapel's coin-draining effect.

Bonus Coins with the Coin Purse:

If you happen to find the Coin Purse special item, it will grant you a bonus to your Gold Coin collection. With the Coin Purse in your possession, you will receive one extra Gold Coin for every three Gold Coins you find. This passive bonus can significantly increase your overall earnings over time.

Late-Game Starting Allowance:

Once you have progressed sufficiently far into the game, you will unlock afeature that provides a small amount of Gold Coins at the start of eachnew day. You will find an envelope containing these coins on the table in the Entrance Hall. This bonus is unlocked by finding Allowance Tokens, which are obtained by completing certain puzzles. For example, solving the puzzle box located in the Closed Exhibit will reward you with an Allowance Token, eventually leading to this daily starting allowance.

Observatory Bonus:

Finally, you can receive one additional Gold Coin by interacting with the Observatory room. If the North Star appears when you look through the telescope in the Observatory, you will be granted one extra Gold Coin. Make sure to check the telescope regularly after drafting the Observatory.
